Chandan Roy Sanyal’s ‘Dar Badar’ won an award at 27th Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”

Glamourstruck presents in association with SALP Films “Dar Badar” also in English titled as “Door to Door”. A mid-length film inspired by a true story of an Afghan refugee. Starring extremely talented actors Chandan Roy Sanyal and Afghan Dutch actor Shoaib Ludin. The movie is definite to set a mark with an outstanding casting and team. There’s a human story behind Dar-Badar, one about displacement, refuge, dreams, reality, successes, failures, resilience, challenges, and co-incidences. An afghan driver far from his homeland and an Indian actor attempting to find his identity are brought together through history, art, and cinema, leaving a lasting impression on both of them before they part ways.

The movie is made by Rohit Khetan, who has also done projects like Dev D, Prague, and many more. He has now united with collaborative creative and technical teams from Afghanistan, the Netherlands in Russia to create magic in his upcoming movie “Dar Badar”. The movie is absolutely going to set a remark of its own. It is an international film and will be dubbed in multiple languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Dutch, Dari, Pashto, and Farsi language.

As said by Chandan Roy Sanyal,” ‘We’re very happy’ we won the film festival award at 27th Minsk Int’l FF “Listapad” and extremely thankful to the Ministry of Culture, Belarus and the int’l jury for the recognition and appreciating our film touching the kind subject of refugee crises, humanity, finding inspiration and keeping hope alive.”

“Dar Badar” was also opened for its world premiere which was on 21st November at the 27th Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” which was organized by the phenomenal Ministry of Culture, Government of the Republic of Belarus. The best embodiment of the theme ‘Cinema a Symphony of Unity’ was awarded to joint Indian-Afghan work of Rohit Khaitan for the film “Dar Badar”.
