Fidaai actor and model Ranaksh Rana enjoys getting drenched in rain.
“I enjoy monsoon and winter seasons. There’s something in the air during these seasons that brings peace. I love getting drenched in rain, it is so relaxing. And the fog during winters, that’s just cosy if you are comfortably wrapped in warm layers,” he said. He feels that the winter season brings warmth in its own way. “I like the pleasantly cool breeze, the soft fog and the fact that you can layer up and still enjoy the outdoors,” he explained. According to him, winter makes any place more beautiful and welcoming. “Closer home, I like Himachal Pradesh. India is so naturally diverse that you can experience the same weather differently in different places,” he said.
As for food, makki ki roti and sarso ka saag are his favourite food items during the winter season. “That’s a perfect high protein dish with great flavours. And if you cook it in olive oil, you get omega 3 as well! A good combination of nutrition and taste. What more can you ask for?”
For him, work is very interesting and that’s why working for long hours is not necessarily tiring. “So even if there’s no long holiday, it’s fine with me. I try to integrate my life and work, instead of trying to find a balance between work and life. It’s all about mindset. Work itself can become relaxing if you truly enjoy it,” he said. According to him, there are many getaway options around Mumbai. “I prefer any place that is green and quiet,” he shared.
