Having proved her mettle as a prolific actor in movies like ‘Milan Talkies’ and ‘Dongri Ka Raja’, the gorgeous actress Reecha Sinha won accolades for her latest movie, ‘The Last Resort’, hailed by the audience, critics and industry alike.
The actress is now pinning all hopes on her eagerly-awaited music video, ‘Kanganey’ launching next year.
With an ever-evolving audience that prefers good, evergreen music over random commercial numbers, ‘Kanganey’ by singer Upesh Jangwal is going to be a treat to the ears for it being soulful and melodious. One of the major USPs of the hummable track besides Upesh’s impactful crooning and heart-touching lyrics will be Reecha’s sizzling screen presence.
“It’s a very cute, Punjabi romantic song wherein the female protagonist is showcasing her feelings for the one she loves. While it seems that the guy is not interested in her in the song, he comes up with a surprise for her. The good thing about the song is that it’s very relatable,” Reecha informs.
For those who have watched the music video, can’t stop raving about Upesh’s palpable chemistry with Reecha. Directed by Piyush Jain under the production ‘Machaao Music’, the song ‘Kanganey’ that has touched everybody’s heart, has been shot across the unexplored picturesque locations of Goa.
“The song’s USP is its beautiful and meaningful lyrics. Once you hear, you will be able to relate it to the fights that you keep having with your loved ones,” Reecha adds.
Always on the outlook of attempting something different on screen, Reecha has always been appreciated for her choice of projects, the latest being ‘The Last Resort’.
“I have already done two music videos so far – one titled ‘Gud Khake’ with Shantanu Maheshwari and the other is a Tik Tok song from my movie ‘The Last Resort’. So far, I have been a part of romantic numbers but now I am looking forward to do dance numbers as well,” says Reecha.
While Reecha hails from the family of doctors and engineers, acting was never a part of the plan. She completed engineering and used to participate in plays and dramas during her college days. During her visit to Mumbai, she decided to become an actor, and since then, there was no looking back for her!
Post the success and critical acclaim of ‘The Last Resort’, Reecha is looking forward to portray some interesting characters on OTT. In her admission, the actress says that she loves thrillers and science fiction genre shows and will definitely want to be the part of such shows in a performance-oriented role.
