After the sad demise of Dignitary cricketer Yashpal Sharma who was a member of the winning squad of the 1983 world cup the Indian cricket community was in a miserable take, the humble actor Jatin Sarna who is known to be playing the role of the legend in the Reliance Entertainment’s and Phantom Film’s ’83’ the movie recently visited Delhi to meet the late cricketer’s wife Renu Sharma as he had promised earlier but with some devotion calling in from her side, Jatin went along to meet the 1983′ captain Kapil Dev, his wife Romi and daughter Amiya Dev who is a part of the crew & known to be a sister figure to Jatin along with Cricketer Madan Lal Sharma.
Jatin Sarna is a versatile actor who is seen in many mind-blowing projects but got his fame of attainment by his well-known character of Deepak Shinde aka Bunty in Sacred Games and has also entertained us in the entire course of lockdown by his mind-blowing conventional acting in Dark 7 White, Bamfaad, Chhalaang, Darbar, etc. Jatin will now be seen taking the forefront in the movie ’83’ which is all set to release in the coming year performing as late cricketer Yashpal Sharma and setting high expectations for others. ’83’ stars the life of Captain Kapil Dev and others who have brushed the title of ‘winning squad’ when they lifted the trophy of the Cricket World Cup in 1983. Jatin has a very significant part to portray and that too with great responsibilities doing justice to the role and we believe in his promising adroit. Those who have lived through the times are surely gonna get hit by waves of Nostalgia.
Jatin Sarna went on a short stint to Delhi recently to meet the 1983’s cricketers, troop, and family, along with exchanging some words of wisdom. Sarna shared ” I wanted to meet Renu ma’am for a long time, she had asked me to visit her whenever I get a chance to stop by at Delhi and hence made a sure shot plan to go and meet the gifted family that I earned through the set of 83. Hence, Amiya Dev planned the gathering but the late cricketer’s wife couldn’t attend our meet-up and hence we missed her presence while we shared some unhindered & untamed conversations with Kapil Dev sir and Madan Lal sir grasping and absorbing lots of lessons and inspiring tales from their trail of cricket journey!
