The dancer and choreographer sounds happy talking about the positive feedback and appreciation coming his way.
“Naach Basanti was one of the most overwhelming shoots of my life. The video has come out very beautiful and I’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback from friends, families and my fans. I think I made them proud. The feeling is surreal. As an artist, I always believe in growing naturally because you get to learn a lot. In today’s time when everything has a price, I am extremely happy that #naachbasanti has organically reached 1.5 million views and counting,” he says.
Ask if he feels a catchy title like ‘Naach Basanti’ has worked for the song’s success and he adds, “Well, it’s too soon to say anything. Naach Basanti in itself is an iconic phrase. Whether or not it has worked in the song’s favour, only time can say, as of now I am happy that the song is still trending and people are slowly getting to know about it.”
The trend of reels has added to the song’s popularity. “It’s amazing that a part of the song is being used in making these short form videos that are going viral these days. I am content and grateful with all the love. If it’s trending, it’s a success. I just hope more people enjoy our song,” he adds.
