Rakesh Chaubey played by Ashmit Patel falls in love with a murder accused Monika Lehri portrayed by Leena Jumani. The story takes a turn for the worst when Rakesh helps Monika to dispose of the body. As the story progresses, Monika when interrogated accuses the cop of the murder. In the course of the story, it is revealed that Monika is a con girl who traps rich businessmen for money but is she a murderer too?
On playing the role of a cop, Ashmit Patel says, “It’s always challenging to play the role of a police officer. The challenge really was how to bring something new and different to this character to set him apart from the other cops I’ve essayed in the past. Of course, the script lays out the character really well but I always try to bring that something extra to every role I play to add another dimension. The script of the story made me sign the show. There are twists and revelations in every episode. I’m glad I got a chance to be a part of this show.”
Leena Jumani on playing Monika shared, “My character is unexpectedly different in every episode. An innocent-looking girl has deep-rooted complexities beneath the facade. She has her reasons to be the way she is. The character is strong and bold who wants all rich men to suffer. I would thank Vibhu Sir for giving me this chance”
