The teaser for the same is now live and the “Wild” posts on ALTBalaji’s social platforms have left everyone intrigued. With the brand changing its logos, to revealing the bizarre character posters, netizens awaited the teaser with bated breath to know more about the show!
The wait is finally over! The teaser opens with the valleys of Himachal Pradesh with an acapella voice in the background. Soon we hear someone saying, “Fantasies are amazing.” And that is when you know that the series is not something usual. Soon, we see the visuals of the dark, twisted and convoluted world of Girgit. There’s deceit, murder, love, obsession, and backstabbing.

Isn’t the teaser twisted? Especially Nakul Roshan Sahdev’s dialogue, “Janhvi agar mera addiction hai, tum meri rehab”. We don’t know who the killer in the series is, but that line is one. Girgit stars Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Trupti Khamkar, Ashmita Jaggi, Taniya Kalra, Aleksander Lilic, Samar Virwani, Shahwar Ali in primary roles.
Girgit is a story that brings to the fore the darkness inherent within us. It explores the limits of human indecency, the lows that one is willing to hit, and the depths of depravity one is ready to touch to get what one truly desires. It tells you that no one is really who they seem to be and that we all are, in the end, just Girgits, changing colours to get things they truly desire.
