Happy New Year: Celebs reveal how they plan to welcome 2022, and their New Year resolution

As we look forward to newsness, adventure, and start over a new chapter in our lives in 2022, we also look back at the times gone by. The last year has been a roller coaster ride and we are hopeful that the next will be much better. And the one thing that everyone is hoping and praying for is the end of this devastating pandemic. Staying positive and strong is the mantra for 2022, according to celebrities. They talk about their plans for New Year’s Eve, how they want to welcome 2022 and also share their New Year resolution:

Reyen Eyes

I always try to be with my near and dear ones at the start of a year. This time I am going to be with my dad and we will be going to North Eastern India. It is an impromptu trip and all we know is that we want to travel and explore all that we can. Apart from traveling with my dad, I will begin 2022 with a spirit of continued growth, and not let 2022 have a clue about the mistakes I did in the past. I am committed to become the purest form of self. Not being affected by the surrounding forces and just speaking the language of my own as an artist. I strive to be fearless in the expression of my art. I swear to do only what I love. So, what you are going to hear in my next album has nothing to do with what the current music scenario is. It is just who I am, it is just what my sound is, it is just what my voice sounds like. It is the answers to life that I have found and I want to share with the people who are potential ‘Reyenizers’. So, I have a lot of expectations from 2022. I hope to get heard and set the stage on fire.

I haven’t made any plans yet. If I’m shooting this year we will end on my favorite note. Post pack up will be spending time with my husband and furry babies at home. This will be the best way to bring in 2022. In case I am free on the 31st, we might plan a lunch date and catch up on a film too. My husband, Jaskaran Singh, and I will welcome 2022 with gratitude in our hearts for all the blessings In our lives, we all pray for each other and for everyone around the globe for a disease free, peaceful prosperous 2022 . We shall welcome 2022 looking at the night sky watching fireworks and holding hands and saying our ‘I love you’. A New Year’s resolution is a tradition. It’s an opportunity for making changes within and becoming a better version. I usually resolve on a daily basis. It’s a process that requires baby steps. Spontaneous resolutions are effervescent, so I chalk out mindfully all that I truly desire and the steps needed to be taken to achieve those.

Celebrating New Years out of Mumbai with a big group of friends is the plan. All of us are meeting after a long time and a few friends are coming from different parts of India. I would like to welcome 2022 with lots of positivity. Hope that we would not be hit hard by the Omicron wave. My resolutions will be to stick to my resolution throughout the year and step up my physical fitness regime this year.

Thank you Omicron uncle, no plans to be in any crowded place, traveling too also isn’t possible because of all restrictions coming in place and moreover we are shooting non-stop for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I am always traveling during such time but this time 2022 shall be welcomed working. If one wants to accomplish anything then one should make a New Year resolution, remember that and work on it.

My New Year’s plan is to spend some quality time with wife Ripci and pet Leo. I intend to go on a long drive because I love driving. I must also say that everyone should follow social distancing norms this time and mask up. I’m looking forward to new music videos, more web series and new avenues, I want to try something new in my career which will surely be a surprise for my fans. I also want to meet my pet horse Bnyur soon.

My New Year’s plan is that I’m going out of town, mostly to Dubai, and I request everyone to follow the protocols keeping in mind the current scenario. I’m looking forward to the new project which I can’t talk about right now and I’m also looking for more opportunities in terms of acting.

I will spend time with my friends and I’m throwing a small get-together for the cast of Rakshabandhan… at my home and New Year is a good time to chill. I’m looking forward to continuing shooting for my show and better career opportunities. I would like to work on an OTT project in 2022. Whatever holidays I’m getting, I want to stay at home and my New Year’s resolution is to become a better person.

My plan for the New Year is to stay at my home in Jaipur with my family. I want to cook food, some snacks with my mom, we all might just watch a movie on Netflix or Amazon, and that’s about it as Covid is spreading again. We need to be responsible to keep our near and dear ones protected by not getting out of our houses for no reason. I want to welcome 2022 with good health and a lot of good work. My New Year resolution is to stay away from negativity and focus more on my career. I would love to learn more skills like martial arts, probably join a dance class and I will follow a very strict diet and make sure I keep visiting my family in Jaipur, once or twice in a month or two.

I have a friend who’s birthday is on the 31st, so every year we just go and drop into his place and celebrate his birthday and that’s how we celebrate 31st as well. So we all friends meet up and cut his birthday cake, celebrate, party, eat and drink, and welcome the New Year too. I will start my year with obviously Ziddi Dil Maane Na and probably with a holiday if I get a chance, somewhere in Maldives and spend some quality me-time. My resolution is to work hard and live up to the expectations and to keep entertaining the audience.

I will celebrate New Year’s eve with family and friends. The scare of omicron is everywhere so I will follow the protocols and expect everyone to follow the same. I will start the year with a lot of positivity and happiness and try to spread it all around me. My New Year resolution is to get a new project which will do justice to my talent.

I will be celebrating New Year’s eve with my family, my mom, dad, younger sister, Aarohi, because my whole family is here in Mumbai with me and I would love to celebrate it with them. And we obviously know Omicron is here, the third wave of Corona is also coming so I will be very much precautious and I will be celebrating it at home with very less people around but definitely I’ll have fun and will be cutting the cake, dancing and posting pictures and videos of having fun with my family. Every year on January 1, i go to Siddhivinayak with my family Bappa ke darshan ke liye, aur iss baar bhi main 2022 ki shuruwaat uss hi tarah se karungi, and also take the blessings of Mumbai Mata as well. I want to start this year with positivity and my family beside me. My New Year resolution this time is to eat healthy. 2021 has taught us so many things that now the body and immunity. We have seen what many have gone through and know the importance of health now.

I don’t have any specific plans for New Year’s. I might be shooting but if I get an off then I’ll be spending time with my family. I’m not a party person who would do the countdown for 2022 but I’m very excited and looking forward to this year as I’ve a lot of things planned. I hope to give a big surprise to my well wishers in 2022 with some different projects. I don’t believe in resolutions, because a resolution should not come from a date but from the heart. Having said that, you can take the opportunity of a New Year, fuelling your uncompleted goals, travelling, and just feel positive about doing things you enjoy.
