Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss starrer science fiction action film Matrix has been rebooted for its fourth installment. For this, Lana Wachowski will return in his director avatar and Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will reprise their characters of Neo and Trinity. Reportedly, Warner Brothers released the first trailer of the film, titled, The Matrix: Resurrections for cinema con audiences and will soon unveil it online.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the trailer begins with Neo (Keanu Reeves) telling his therapist (Neil Patrick Harris) about his dreams and senses that nothing has been happening right in the world plus he has no memory of the Matrix. In the film, Neo will have some new powers although, the set direction style of Lana will be the same as it was earlier but with some fresh VFX trickery.
Apart from Keanu Reeves, the film also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris. The Matrix: Resurrections will premiere on December 22, 2021. Interestingly, Keanu will be seen with long hair instead of short one. Well, his fans are waiting for him to do a comeback with the fourth installment of The Matrix.
