Digital giant ALTBalaji dropped the trailer of its upcoming series Girgit and within a few hours internet already made up its mind and labelled it to be the most exciting trailer of recent times. On Monday, the streaming platform dropped yet another poster which has grabbed our attention. In the latest poster, we see the two primary characters Nakul Roshan Sahdev and Taniya Kalrra, going out in their character.
The poster itself speaks for the madness that the series will unfold with each episode. Dressed in a denim jacket with lavender coloured emojis imprinted, Nakul, who plays Ranbir in the series, looks intriguing. While Taniya, in her floral print crop top and bun seems in her character of Shamoli. Both the actors are screaming at each other in the poster while trinkets of blood serve as their makeup. With fire in the background, the two obsessively are looking at each other in this latest poster of Girgit which gauges eyeballs.
While sharing the poster, the makers wrote: Every line will be crossed, jab tak they don’t get what they want. Sab #Girgit hain!
For those who might have missed the trailer, Girgit is a thriller obsession about a rich business tycoon Ranbir who is accused of murdering his wife, Janhvi. While Ranbir is still not over his first wife, how would the changing circumstances and multiple characters help him prove himself not guilty is the show’s basic premise. What happens when your love becomes your obsession, and your obsession becomes your insanity? Girgit is a story that brings to the fore the darkness inherent within us.
