It’s been a week since Mumbai Diaries 26/11 released on Prime Video. The series has been receiving all sorts of lauds and praises from the people for its brilliant story, writing and every other aspect. Director Nikkhil Advani who previously stated his happiness at every getting their due has now thanked his other crew members as well.
Nikkhil Advani took to social media to upload a short clip from the series. With the breathtaking and goosebump inducing scene the director also penned a long note thanking the contribution of his team mates in making the show a success and how his vision came to life whiel also receiving audiences love and critic’s positive reviews.

Most directors will tell you that it’s one thing to imagine it inside ones head and it’s quite another thing to actually be able to pull it off. I was fortunate enough to be supported by @kaushal_dp who worked out a brilliant lighting design that aided the shot taking as well as @priyasuhass who understood that the design of the hospital needed to be porus, one space opening into another.
However, none of this would have been possible without our brilliant stedicam operators (we worked with 13)
Finally we synced up with @lakshmisha_75 who just danced around the set and created magic.
It would be unfair to not mention our drone operators @nilesha_films & @lens_pilot who now having worked with me on almost all our projects seem to know what I want even before I do.

The scene takes us into the setup of a hospital being overwhelmed by the number of people showing up in the instant aftermath of 26/11 attacks. The clip gives a brief insight into what one can expect from the highly acclaimed series.
The show has been created by Nikkhil Advani, produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment, and jointly directed by Nikkhil Advani along with Nikhil Gonsalves, the series depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that devastated the city on November 26, 2008. Besides Satyajeet, the series features an array of talented artists, including Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi.
‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11’ is a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama that is set against the terrifying, unforgettable night that, on the one hand, ravaged the city, but on the other hand, also united its people and strengthened their resolve to stand against any adversity.
