“The very first thing is that I have to feel things aesthetically. I love music, listen to different kinds of music all the time. So, when somebody sends me the audio track I hear it for the first time and while listening to it I decide whether I want to do it or not. I kind of get the vibe, I feel I have a strong sixth sense that really came in handy when i decided to be a part of Bepanah Pyaar, Bepanah Ishq, Halo Re Halo, door ho Gaya .. all these songs have done extremely well, some with numbers and some really struck a chord in people’s hearts, says the actor. He is presently playing the leading role in Vidrohi.
Sharad hopes that his sixth sense works in the future as well. “There are a few more tracks that I’m working on right now. Suddenly everyone wants me in their music videos (laughs), and I am not complaining. I think there is a period of time in everybody’s life when you’re trending. It’s a phase that I am thoroughly enjoying,” continues Sharad, who has also written, composed, and sung a song with his dear friend Roxy, who happens to be his Guitar teacher…Hopefully, it will see the light of the day very soon!
The actor has been receiving a number of offers since the lockdown phase got over. “During the pandemic honestly everything was dull, slow. A lot of people were not working. I think post-pandemic I got a lot of offers from TV, web and even music videos. I think the moment everything opened up, I totally got into action. Those 5-6 months sitting at home wasn’t an easy task, that too for people like me who have been working non-stop for years now…I am so used to working, can’t just sit at home (laughs again). I feel my mind is conditioned that way. Thankfully, by the grace of God, things got better when unlock was initiated and people started to go back to work,” he says.
