Allu Arjun’s Pushpa- The Rise went on to become one of the most successful films of all time with superstar Allu Arjun singlehandedly carrying the entertainer on his shoulders. The film went on to cross 300 crores worldwide despite releasing alongside big ticket films like Spiderman and 83 and the Hindi version of Pushpa-The Rise itself went on to garner over 80 crores, testimony to the actor’s popularity and star power.
At a challenging time like the pandemic, all theatre chains suffered losses and were going through a lull, however, Allu’s Pushpa-The Rise gave several of them respite. One such chain was the G7 Multiplex, a go-to cinema chain for the masses in suburban Mumbai.

Such was the response of the film in the popular multiplex that G7 owner Manoj Desai saluted Allu Arjun, who was ecstatic with Pushpa’s collections.
In a special message to Allu Arjun, Manoj Desai said, “If there was anyone I saluted after Amitabh Bachchan in Khuda Gawah and Nagarjuna and his son from the south, it’s you. Allu Arjun sir how are you?I salute you and I’m so happy to release your film Pushpa and I will also be very happy to release your second film. Sir sir sir.”
