Nushrratt Bharuccha has left her fans and audiences completely impressed with the latest achievement. She is the only Indian actress to be nominated for the renowned Asian film festival for the best actress award, for the phenomenal performance she gave in the recent anthology ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’.
Nushrratt’s performance was widely lauded and appreciated on all fronts, playing the role of a househelp so perfectly. The actress pushed her own boundaries by playing a de-glamourised role.
Celebrations are underway for the actress on the sets of her upcoming next, Janhit Mein Jaari. Sharing the same on her social media, she thanked the team for celebrating with a cake-cutting.

She did not only grab eyeballs during her part in the anthology but also managed to convince and impress the audience by essaying the role phenomenally well. Nushrratt is all geared up star in two female centric movies and soon will also be seen in a horror movie for the first time ever.
Nushrratt shared, “Ajeeb Daastaans is one of those films I did purely for myself, purely for the passion I have for Films, Stories and Cinema. Being recognised on a Global stage for it, is just so overwhelming. I am ecstatic to be nominated by Busan International Film Festival 2021 for its 3rd Asia Contents Awards. So honoured to see my name alongside other talented actors from different countries. This nomination gives me more impetus to follow my calling with renewed fervour to do what I love everyday!”
Nushrratt’s lineup currently features ‘Chhorri’, ‘Hurdang’, ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’, ‘Ram Setu’ and an unnamed project. The actress has a kitty of 5 films between now and 2022.
